Cottage School

Coming Fall 2026

Our forest school is expanding to include a cottage school program for Pre-K through middle school! Starting soon, children will attend in-person classes three days a week from 9 AM to 2 PM, where they’ll engage in hands-on, nature-based learning. To support families in their homeschooling journey, we’ll also provide resources and activities for continued learning at home on the other days. This hybrid approach blends the best of community learning with the flexibility and depth of home education.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will the tuition be?

We plan to keep the tuition at $200 a month.

What will the class size be?

We will cap the class at 10 students.

Will the program be faith-based?

No, this is a secular program.

Will you provide lunch?

Students will need to pack their lunch daily.

Where will the cottage school be located?

We are still looking for locations, but it will be in Hardin County.

Will learning be primarily outdoor-based, and how do you handle inclement weather?

Teachers will work to incorporate nature into all aspects of the curriculum. Students will be outside for large portions of their day. We believe there is no bad weather, only bad clothes so students should be prepared to be outside in all weathers. However, we make exceptions for severe weather.

Will students of different ages learn together or in separate groups?

We will have PreK Forest School, Kindergarten, 1st through 3rd, 4th through 5th, and Middle School classes.
